DEHYDRATION

Dehydration occurs when your body loses more fluids than it takes in, causing an imbalance. This can happen due to:



CAUSES 

1. Not drinking enough water

2. Vomiting or diarrhea

3. Excessive sweating

4. Fever

5. Certain medications


SYMPTOMS 



1. Dry mouth and throat

2. Fatigue

3. Headaches

4. Dizziness or lightheadedness

5. Dark-colored urine


Treatment



1. Drinking plenty of water or electrolyte-rich fluids

2. Resting in a cool environment

3. Avoiding strenuous activities


PREVENTION 

1. Drinking water regularly

2. Monitoring urine output (aim for pale yellow)

3. Eating hydrating foods (fruits, vegetables)


If dehydration is severe or persists, seek medical attention.
