Kidney stones are hard mineral deposits that form in the kidneys or urinary tract.
TYPES
1. Calcium stones:
Most common type, often caused by excess calcium
2. Uric acid stones:

3. Cystine stones:
Rare, genetic disorder
4. Struvit stones:

SYMPTOMS
1. Severe pain (renal colic)
2. Pain in the side, back, or lower abdomen
3. Nausea and vomiting
4. Blood in urine
5. Frequent or painful urination
CAUSES
1. Dehydration:
Insufficient fluid intake
2. Diet:
High intake of oxalate, sodium, or animal protein

TREATMENT
