URINE INFECTION (UTI )
A urinary tract infection (UTI) occurs
When bacteria infect the urinary system, including the kidneys, bladder, or urethra. Common symptoms include:
1. Frequent urination
2. Burning sensation while urinating
3. Cloudy or strong-smelling urine
4. Lower abdominal pain or pressure
5. Fever or chills
CAUSES:
- Bacteria (often _E. coli_) entering the urinary tract.
- Poor hygiene, sexual activity, or urinary tract abnormalities.
TREATMENT:
- Antibiotics prescribed by a doctor.
- Drinking plenty of water to flush out bacteria.
- Cranberry juice may help prevent( UTI ).
WHEN TO SEE A DOCTOR:
- Symptoms persist or worsen.
FEVER, BACK PAIN, OR BLOOD IN URINE.
